We are an award winning fish and chip shop situated in the residential area of Baljaffray, Bearsden on the outskirts of Glasgow; run by husband and wife team John and Joyce.  Since our establishment in 2005 we have built up a reputation for quality fish and chips and have establish ourselves as the favourite chippie amongst Bearsden, Milngavie & other nearby local residents.

During school holidays we will not open for lunch and will open from 4pm during the week.

For our fish suppers, we use the freshest & sweetest Haddock caught by Scottish fishermen in the North Sea off the east cost Scotland using sustainable fishing practices.  We employ a fry to order when you order policy, even during our busiest times so that you can be assured that your fish is pan fresh and it has not been lying.  We only use vegetable oil throughout because we believe it produces a tastier, cleaner and healthier product.  Soggy & greasy chips is synonymous with bad chippies but you won’t find this at The Fish Stop - guaranteed!!
